FOOD HALLS

The food hall has dramatically developed over the last three years and has become a key feature at all of the shows. It is the home to dozens of stall holders and you will never fail to be amazed at the range and quality of products on display. This area has a vibrant and contemporary atmosphere that is nicely balanced to ensure that the food hall still embraces many of the traditional aspects of food production.

If you like food you will love these shows especially as you, the public, are offered the opportunity to sample and take home a vast array of gastronomic delights. From organic cheese to handmade kitchens the food hall is always extremely popular and boasts a number of key features that include all or some of the following:

• Children’s Make ’n’ Bake Area
• Cookery Demonstrations – up to 5 demonstrations per day
• Wine Tasting – With sessions for both beginners and advanced
• Beer Tasting – sample some of the country’s finest real ales
• Advanced Cooking lessons (Must be pre booked)
• Amazing bistro providing top quality refreshments

Our resident celebrity chef Richard Fox provides amazing demonstrations three times a day. In addition, Richard is available after the show to discuss and help you with some handy hints. Richard is the resident chef for BBC1’s Look North “Fox On The Run”, BBC2 Food Poker and is filming 6 one hour specials with Neil Morrissey highlighting the gastronomic qualities of beer. These shows are set to air on Channel 4 this summer and the cameras will be seen filming at many of the shows this year.

In addition to Richard, the Pumkin Spice offer two daily demonstrations of cooking with spices. For an exact list of who and which attractions will be appearing at each show please visit the relevant page listed on the left hand side of this page.
