CRAFT MARQUEES
The craft marquees are the home for some of the county’s finest crafts men and women, attracting many traditional craft workers as well as young, contemporary designers displaying unique quality products. This area has represented the back bone of the shows for many years and the unchallenged dedication towards their work is apparent in the top quality products that are on sale.
Dozens of exhibitors will be demonstrating the level of skill and concentration that is required to create the bespoke masterpieces, many of which are individually hand crafted. The public have the opportunity to actually meet the craftworkers and discover how they invest a piece of their heart and sole into every item they produce.
Workshops and Attractions Include:
Pottery Demonstrations; The public have the opportunity to understand the patience and skill required to create a masterpiece.
Craft Make ‘N’ Take Area; The young and old alike, can create and design individual hand crafted items of their own.
Card Making Workshop: Advanced and Beginner sessions available.
Glass Blowing – Not as easy as it looks and should never be tried at home.
Woodturning- Using traditional methods watch this amazing display
Chainsaw Carving – Watch in amazement as the skilled tree surgeon creates a detailed sculpture using only a chainsaw and an angle grinder
