ABOUT THE SHOW
Gardeners Weekend is back by popular demand at Shugborough Historic Estate and is taking place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June 2008.

SHOW HISTORY
After spending two years at Weston Park this enormously popular show returns to its home at Shugborough Hall. Shugborough Hall is a tranquil setting in the heart of Cannock Chase National Park, one of the country’s finest areas of outstanding natural beauty. The show takes place on the front lawn of the ancestral home of the Earl of Lichfield and is bigger and better than ever before with trade stands, attractions and demonstrations to keep the whole family entertained. Those of you with an eye for quality have the opportunity to browse and purchase an enormous array of products from up to 150 trade stands.

FLORAL DEMONSTARTIONS
We are very proud to present the extremely popular TV celebrity Carl Wilde. Carl will be demonstrating the ‘art of flowers’ to audiences throughout the weekend and provides a show that is one definitely not to be missed. Carl has a glittering career that has included 10 years on the ‘This Morning’ with Richard and Judy, appearances on GMTV and work for the BBC’s House Call. Carl will be running two demonstrations per day. One thing guaranteed, is laughter, tears and general rolling around in the isles as you marvel at His amazing charisma and the extent of his dedication and knowledge.
As well as dozens of Garden exhibitors the show includes two enormous food & craft pavilions that house some of the country's finest food artisans and some of UK's finest crafts men and women. This show has all the ingredients to making it an extremely successful and enjoyable for all members of the family whatever their age.

COOKING WITH HOME GROWN PRODUCE
If its food that you fancy our resident celebrity chef Richard Fox, from BBC's look north 'Fox on the Run' and BBC2's 'Food Poker', will be running a number of cookery demonstrations each day. Richard is the author of a very successful cookery book ‘The Food & Beer Cook Book’ and will be demonstrating ‘Cooking with Home Grown Produce’ and ‘Hot Tips for BBQ cooking’ . Both celebrities will be available after each demonstration for a 'question and answer session'. The show itself is packed with demonstrations and attractions that will make this a day out to remember for both, the young and old.
